"It is for the Dharma and by the Dharma that India exists…
This Hindu nation was born with Sanatana Dharma, with it it moves, with it it grows…
The Sanatana Dharma, that is nationalism." - Sri Aurobindo

Like a raindrop join with other pouring raindrops, together they flow as a watercourse
to form an immense river which will stream to get together with other rivers in an ocean...
Let noble thoughts come from all over the world…like a raindrop,
join and form groups or religions…like rivers for the betterment of humanity and the universe
let all meet at the feet of GOD the super power who controls the whole universe...
Respect every thing, living and non-living, from an atom to the most magnificent,
created by him for a purpose, similar as he created you and me because when we reach our final destiny
we all are same...
Om Asato maa sad-gamaya;
tamaso maa jyotir-ga-maya;
mrtyor-maa amrutam gamaya.
Om Shaantih Shaantih Shaantih.
O Lord
Lead me from the unreal to the real.
Lead me from the darkness to light.
Lead me from death to immortality.
May there be peace, peace, and perfect peace.

Hindu Rituals and Routines - Why do we follow them?

Sanaathana Dharma
A brief introduction - eBook
If we are mature enough to see the purpose of each religion or spiritual path, we will recognize that there is very little difference between them. Once we get past the superficialities and variations, like dress, language, rituals, diet, or architectural styles of churches or temples, we can see that the essence of each religion is the same. That is to pray to God, sing His praises, discuss His pastimes and instructions, study the guidance of the prophets or messengers of God, and to think of God or meditate on Him in any number of ways. The process is the same, summarized as hearing about God, chanting or singing about Him, and remembering and serving God. That's it. Anything else is an expansion of these items. The goal is the same: To learn how to surrender to God and love Him with all our hearts and minds, and then to treat and love others as parts and parcels of God.

O Hindus! Be Hindus by Action!
Stop Extreme Insult of Lord Ganesh and be a real devotee:
The popular Hindu Festival 'Ganesh Chaturthi' is widely celebrated in Maharashtra, Konkan, Goa and other parts of the country. Today many malpractices have entered in this holy festival resulting in extreme insult of Lord Ganesh. To eradicate these evils, Hindu Janajagruti Samiti has launched 'Ganesh Festival Campaign'. This section has answers of many practical questions about Ganesh Festivals.
Denigration of Ganesh Idol !
Anything which is in consonance with the scriptures proves to be ideal and beneficial. If the idol of Lord Ganesh is sculpted as per the science behind the idol then those worshipping it are benefited. Unfortunately today, idols are worshipped in various forms and shapes based on one's liking and imagination without taking into account the science behind the idol. This is resulting in the denigration of Lord Ganesh.
  • Idol should not be sculptured from material other than china clay or mud
  • Idols should not be huge
  • Idols of Lord Ganesh should not have weird forms and attir.
Visit the site www.hindujagruti.org/ganeshfest and enrich your knowledge about the Lord of Knowledge, Lord Ganesh and celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi in much more meaningful and enlightened manner.
